Saturday is the first day of the Olympic torch's 70 day, 8,000-mile relay across the UK, where it will come within 10 miles of 95% of people in the UK, Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey – and right by Heathcote & Ivory's office (time for some celebratory waving of our MEN toiletry range boxes!).

There will be 8,000 relay bearers, going through more than 1,000 cities, towns and villages until the start of the Olympics on 27 July. As yet, the final carrier of the torch is unnamed, but they will have the honour of lighting the cauldron inside the Olympic stadium.

The Olympic Torch Relay is a great way for everyone to get involved, regardless of where you are in the country. Take a look at the interactive Olympic Torch Relay route map (below) on the official London 2012 website to see where the torch will be coming near you, and the locations of evening celebrations all around the country. Zoom in to see the detail of the route, or just enter your postcode in the search box to find out where the flame will appear near you.

During day 69 of the torch's 70 day journey, it will be passing through Camden and by Chalk Farm tube station, not far from Heathcote & Ivory's office! The nearest evening celebrations will be at Westminster at the end of the day (Thursday 26 July). Westminster has been the location for every Coronation since 1066, the Royal Wedding last year, and with landmarks such as Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, it's going to be a night to remember – and we can't wait!
