The Queen is well known for her handbags, that always appear to accompany her whether it be at a royal wedding or state appearance in the far-flung corners of the world. The Launer handbag (above) she donned at the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, resulted in sales soaring. But what will Her Majesty have to hand for her Diamond Jubilee? Hand cream? Good luck charms? Pension book? We thought we'd address some of those rumours here today...
It's been said that the Queen loves to keep her hands nice and moisturised, to maintain soft hands for all those royal handshakes. And therefore a travel sized hand cream is the perfect inclusion in her trusty bag. The Vintage Mimosa & Pomegranate Handbag Must Haves 3 x 30ml we expect, is Her Majesty's handbag hand cream of choice.
Another rumour that's been floating around (albeit in the Heathcote & Ivory office) is that the Queen is certainly a Ma'am on the go, and therefore is highly likely to include a Vintage Mimosa & Pomegranate Girl on the Go Set in her day bag. It's got everything a Queen could need whilst one is out and about.
The Queen's famous all-matching colour outfits are certainly likely to influence her choice of handbag accessory. Which is why (it's been said) the Queen may take with her many items from our new Floral Fragrance Collection. Our Wild Daisy & Elderflower Caring Hands Treats, for example, is the perfect shade to complement the Queen's all yellow attire worn at last year's royal wedding.
And finally, rumour has it again (just a small one this time), the Queen, in order to recover from all her time conversing with the people of her great nation, carries in her handbag the Cath Kidston Assorted Lip Balm 3 x 5g – the shea butter and beeswax keeping Her Majesty's lips moist and free from dryness.
Of course, it's possible that none of this is true. Whatever is in her handbag, Heathcote & Ivory would like to wish Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II all the best for her Diamond Jubilee and congratulations for 60 years on the throne. And of course, very soft hands :).
